SEATTLE – A Seattle police officer is recovering after falling out of a window during a chase.

Early Saturday morning the officer followed an underage suspect out of an apartment window and fell 25 feet.

Even though the entrance to the apartment was on the ground floor, the window was farther up than the officer realized.

The officer is in stable condition.
