SEATTLE - The Washington State Public Discolsure Commission announced Wednesday it will investigate an allegation that King County Executive candidate Susan Hutchison’s campaign failed to disclose information about campaign contributions.
Specifically, they’re looking into a private home in Seattle’s Laurelhurst neighborhood. Hutchison’s campaign manager also lives in that home. The PDC is concerned that the home is an in-kind contribution that was not reported.

It’s also investigating more than $19,000 in expenditures. No details were provided on how the money was spent.
Hutchison’s opponent, Dow Constantine, is under investigation by the PDC for faulty phone call solicitations.
The Seattle Times reported this month that the Constantine campaign was accused of coordinating illegally with an independent campaign that attacked Hutchison before the primary election. Campaign finance laws prohibit candidates from coordinating with independent campaigns.
Constantine is also being accused of coercing fellow King County councilmember Julia Patterson to support a ferry district proposal.
